A closing note from Scott Dickens on behalf of the defending champion Bristol Knights to the 2012 MTL…

Thank you all for your time and dedication to your teams and our league this year.
I know playing ball all summer is a big commitment, and I appreciate all of you who came and played.
I enjoyed playing against all or you this year, and only wish my team (myself included) played much better down the stretch and into the playoffs.
I think the level of play in this league keeps getting better, and am looking forward to a competitive 2013 season next year.

Thanks to Chris for all his time and effort put in running the league, and Ken Cook’s help lately with the stats and other things.
Thanks to all of you that have used this site, and hopefully will do MORE of to finish this year and beyond.

Last night we lost a tough loss for us to the Expos, after losing a tough game to Elmers on Monday.
Monday we came back from 7-1 down, but fell just short, losing to Elmer’s 7-6.
Last night we were never close… we lost 0-6
The Expos got 3 right away… and we were immediately behind the 8 ball.
We were missing the spark last night.

I’ve had this terrible funk and depressed feeling since last night.
Losing sucks. Barsa knows what I’m talking about. haha. jk.

I expected better things for my team in defending our championship this year, but it wasn’t to be.
After the way we went out and won our championship last year… this year was tough to swallow.

I hope to see you all at the All-Star game next Friday if we can get it in… weather permitting.
Thanks again to everyone, and we hope to see you all next year.
