Elmer’s got its first win of the season Monday night over the Chicago Sam’s Orioles 8-5 at Sage Park in Berlin. DJ Dyer picked up the win on the mound going 4 innings only giving up 3 hits and 1 run. He helped himself out on offense as well having 2 hits and an RBI. Dan Amarante was the spark on offense for Elmer’s collecting up 2 big hits including a triple and 4 RBI’s. Also for Elmer’s offense, Ken Cook scored 2 runs after reaching base by a hit and a HBP. Dustin Mocadlo had 2 hits and scored 2 runs to lead the Orioles offense.
