This year, 5 local and independent CT Breweries stepped up to partner with us for our 2021 CTL Summer Classic. Willibrew, Fat Orange Cat, and Hopmeadow each came in as full game sponsors, and Great Falls and CT Valley Brewing came in to split the final game. When we were looking for someone to pair up with as a league, Connecticut’s Local Independent Brewing scene was the obvious answer. The crossover in interest of our players… mostly in their 20s, and some in their 30s, was a perfect match with the CT Beer and brewing scene.

We are beyond thankful for the continuted support of the 3 brewery partners who’ve been working with us for a little while now.
Willimantic Brewing Company, Fat Orange Cat Brewing Company, and Great Falls Brewing Company, who each have sponsored our teams and/or CTL Summer Classic in recent years. Your three businesses have long been valued partners with the CT Twilight League.

Fat Orange Cat has long been an event and team sponsor of our Fat Orange Cat Brewers team. The Brewery in East Hampton has been shut down for much of the pandemic is reopening for drivethru orders starting next Saturday, 8/7. Stop by!

Willibrew had sponsored our Willimantic Ridges team in recent years, until they unfortunately folded at the beginning of the pandemic. We hope to revive the team with 80+ years of history in the near future. In addition, Willimantic Brewing Company has been sponsor of our past few CTL Summer Classics. Willibrew has long been a favorite spot for league meetings, and the mandatory spot for many of our teams after games when we played the Ridges in Willimantic. The Burgers and food is top notch.

Great Falls came to our league in 2020, as a title sponsor on our expansion team, the Great Falls Gators. With the Tristate League coming back in 2021 and Willy Yahn continuing his minor league career, the Gators didn’t return in 2021… but the amazing people at Great Falls still came aboard as an event sponsor. Great Falls Brewing Company is set up in a beautiful old train depot, and next to a train museum. The Drive up to their brewery is a beautiful one. Stop by sometime soon.

Once again we’d love to welcome to our NEW league sponsors… Thanks so much for working with us and coming aboard this year. We hope to continue working with you in the future.

Hopmeadow Brewing Company and CT Valley Brewing Company. Hopmeadow is a newer brewery started up in Avon, right near the Avon Old Farms School. The name is derived from the fields along the Farmington River where hops used to be grown and hand dried for the production of local beers served in the pubs of CT.

CT Valley is a great and more established CT Brewery in South Windsor that opened in 2018. The owners love or airplanes and celebrating aviation history shows in much of their iconography and beer names.
