The Connecticut Twilight League returns to the home of the Hartford Yard Goats once again this June 18th & 19th for our annual CTL Summer Classic Games. The yearly tradition started in 2016, is the 10th year of the CTL Summer Classic. That first year in 2016 the CTL played their games at CCSU’s baseball field. Initially the plan had been to play that first summer classic at Dunkin’ Donuts Park, but delays in construction had us move that year to CCSU. Since that first year though, the Connecticut Twilight League has played year after year at the home of the Yard Goats. A fun fact about this, is that the Connecticut Twilight League is we believe the Only group to play in Dunkin’ Park every year of its existence. In 2020 the CTL opened our season there, with a delayed season start due to the pandemic. That year in 2020, MILB actually didn’t have a season, so the Yard Goats themselves didn’t play there. We are proud to continue this tradition and love playing on the nicest AA baseball in America. Dunkin’ Park has actually been voted the America Ballpark Digest best AA ballpark 4 times… 2017, 2018, 2021, and 2022.

This year we have all 6 teams playing 3 games across 2 days. The first day on WED 6/18, we have two matchups. In game 1 at 5:30, The Wethersfield Dodgers take on the Bristol Shock. In the second game on WED, the Enfield Patriots take on the CCR Angels. On THU 6/19, in the third game, we have the battle of Rocky Hill… the Barile Realty Rockies take on the Peoples Bank Bucks. All teams play one game under the lights and splendor of Dunkin’ Park.

Every year we work closely with event sponsors to help us offset event costs, which we look to do again in 2025. If you are a sponsor looking to support our league, and get your business a lot of exposure, please contact us at baseballctl@gmail.com
