After a day of rain/wet field and unfortunately a cancelation, the event went off beautifully on Thursday 6/19 and Friday 6/20. Huge thank to the team at Dunkin’ Park and the Hartford Yard Goats. They were professional as ever and helped us play 3 great games.

CTL Summer Classic Gm3 Angels vs Patriots 6-20-25
What originally would have been game 3, was now the now first game of the CTL summer Classic on tonight (THU, 6/19) after the rainout the day before. This game was presented by @bankatpeoples Barile Realty and Elm Realty Advisors. This game was the battle of Rocky Hill with the @ctlrockies taking on the @rockyhill.bucks .

Rocky Hill Rockies easily dispatched PeoplesBank Bucks on Thursday at Dunkin Park, 16-1. A single by Jack Pawlich put PeoplesBank Bucks on the board in the bottom of the first. Rocky Hill Rockies flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring six runs on four hits to take the lead, 6-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Luke Fahey that drove in three.
Rocky Hill Rockies added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Mike Rigdon walked, and Austin Bigelow grounded out, each scoring one run.
Josh Malcolm earned the win for Rocky Hill Rockies. The reliever allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking one. Ethan Pancoast took the loss for PeoplesBank Bucks. The pitcher went two innings, surrendering six runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out none and walking two. Carter Scovill led things off on the bump for Rocky Hill Rockies. The hurler surrendered three hits and one run over two innings, striking out one and walking none. Michael Lord and Nathan Bigelow each threw shutout innings for Rocky Hill Rockies in relief.
Rocky Hill Rockies piled up 13 hits in the game. Rigdon and Erik Romero were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Rocky Hill Rockies while hitting back-to-back. Rigdon led Rocky Hill Rockies with three runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The left-handed hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Rocky Hill Rockies had patience at the plate, piling up 11 walks for the game. David Otero, Rigdon, William Ramos, and Spencer Stahl led the team with two free passes each. William Estronza stole two bases. Rocky Hill Rockies turned one double play in the game. Rocky Hill Rockies were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Bigelow made the most plays with seven.
Pawlich went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Pancoast, Bryce Adamski, and Pawlich each collected one hit for PeoplesBank Bucks. Rocky Hill Rockies welcome Enfield Patriots on Tuesday for their next game.

The Gamechanger recap from game 2: Wethersfield Dodgers’s Late Push Leads To Victory Over Bristol Shock
Wethersfield Dodgers defeated Bristol Shock 5-4 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. Wethersfield Dodgers were down 4-3 in the top of the seventh inning when Tyler Czeremcha singled, scoring two runs. A fielder’s choice by Mike Gajda put Bristol Shock on the board in the bottom of the first. Wethersfield Dodgers took the lead in the top of the third. Yan Hernandez singled, scoring two runs, to give Wethersfield Dodgers the edge, 3-2. Tommy Stagis grounded into a fielder’s choice, which helped Bristol Shock tie the game at three in the bottom of the fourth.
Chris Gibbs earned the win for Wethersfield Dodgers. The starting pitcher allowed five hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out six and walking none. Braden Barron took the loss for Bristol Shock. The pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs (zero earned) on three hits, striking out five and walking none. Chris McGrath stepped on the bump first for Bristol Shock. The hurler allowed three hits and three runs over three and one-third innings, striking out three and walking four.
Landon Wyskiewicz, Nico Spuches, Jarai Bolden, Hernandez, Colin Lawrence, and Czeremcha each collected one hit for Wethersfield Dodgers. Hernandez and Czeremcha were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Wethersfield Dodgers.
Gajda drove the middle of the lineup, leading Bristol Shock with two runs batted in. Gajda went 1-for-3 on the day. Jordan Banks set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Bristol Shock with two hits in four at bats. Wethersfield Dodgers welcome CCR Angels on Monday for their next game.

The Gamechanger recap from game 3: Enfield Patriots Walk-Off In Nail-Biter Against CCR Angels
It came down to the wire on Friday at Dunkin Park, as Enfield Patriots grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 2-1, over CCR Angels. The game was tied at one in the bottom of the seventh when Sergio Deleon singled, scoring one run. The pitching was strong on both sides. Enfield Patriots pitchers struck out eight, while CCR Angels sat down 10.
Enfield Patriots opened the scoring in the first after Bryce Alexander singled, scoring one run. Enfield Patriots committed an error, which helped CCR Angels tie the game at one in the top of the sixth. Matt Souvigney earned the win for Enfield Patriots. The pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking none. Thomas Benincaso started on the hill for Enfield Patriots. The hurler gave up zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out two and walking none. Ethan Puhala stepped on the bump first for CCR Angels. The starter gave up one hit and one run (zero earned) over one inning, striking out three and walking one. Luke Guyer, Deleon, Josh Pasini, Christian Pasini, and Dan Nixon each came on in relief for Enfield Patriots and shutdown CCR Angels.
